Scott and Company Welcomes New Associate Accountant

Aguilar joins the firm as an associate accountant in the Tax and Advisory Services department. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Thomas Edison State College, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Professional Accountancy with a concentration in taxation from Clemson University. Aguilar has passed all four parts of the CPA exam and is currently working to fulfill the experience requirement in order to obtain his South Carolina CPA license.

Aguilar is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he was a Legacy Scholar, 2014 – 2015. He is a past member of Beta Alpha Psi. Outside of the office, his interests include investing, studying history and playing chess. Moving from the upstate, he now resides in West Columbia, South Carolina with his wife, Sharon, and their daughter, Charity Isabella.
